With Powerball up to $321 million for Saturday's drawing, USA TODAY compiled a list of states with the most jackpot winners in the history of the game.
The luckiest of the lucky? That would be Indiana. The Hoosier State boasts 39 jackpot wins since 1992, when Powerball got its start. Read on to see how your state stacks up!
Keep in mind that five states don’t have state lotteries: Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada, and Utah. Mississippi has a *new* state lottery, and began selling Powerball tickets in January 2020.
This list takes into account the 44 states, plus Washington, D.C, the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico, that do offer Powerball.
And, if your state doesn't appear on the list? Not to fear. We'd say you're due for a win.
