Is 3 your lucky number? It is for Powerball. As of August 23, 2021, Powerball is adding brand-new Monday night drawings to its weekly lineup. You now have three chances a week to become a Powerball millionaire.
So what exactly is changing?
Before August 23, 2021, Powerball had drawings twice a week on Wednesdays and Friday at 10:59 PM ET.
Now, Powerball draws on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 10:59 PM ET.
Powerball has also added a new $1 add-on feature called Double Play, available in 13 states, which enters your ticket into a separate drawing for $10 million. (Note: We currently do not support the new Double Play feature when placing an order for Powerball through the Jackpocket app. We hope to support this feature in the future; stay tuned!.)

What does this mean for Jackpocket players?
A new day to play = more chances to win! Powerball tickets are still $2 (or $3 if you add on Power Play) and you have the same odds of winning. If you have an Autoplay set for Powerball, it will automatically enter you in all 3 drawings a week, no changes necessary.
