March is Problem Gambling Awareness Month

Learn about the Responsible Play tools in our lineup

The lottery should be fun, win or lose. This March (and every month of the year), we stand with the National Council on Problem Gambling, which dedicates the month to raising awareness about problem gambling. The goal is to spread the word about all the help that is available from prevention to treatment, and recovery services.

In honor of PGAM, we wanted to make sure you knew about all the tools and resources in the Jackpocket app that encourage responsible gaming. Tap “Play Responsibly” in the side menu of the app to use them!

1. Adjust your daily spend limit.

Jackpocket enforces a daily deposit and spend limit, but you can set your own lower limits too. Want to budget yourself a lotto ticket a day? Set a daily spend limit of $2 or $3. Once you set a limit, it can’t be edited for seven days.

2. Exclude yourself from using the app.

Need a break from the lottery? Our self-exclusion feature lets you restrict yourself from using the app for a specific time period. During this time, you won’t be able to place orders or add credits to your account, and any automatic orders you have scheduled will be cancelled.

3. Get help when you need it.

We provide one-tap access to the National Council on Problem Gambling's confidential 24-hour helpline from within the app. If you’d like additional support, NCPG offers resources on their website at www.ncpgambling.org.

For help with problem gambling, text or call 1–800–522–4700.
