At Jackpocket, we're celebrating by spreading the fun safely. That’s why we’re joining the National Council on Problem Gambling in kicking off their annual Gift Responsibly Campaign.
According to the NCPG:
“Research shows that the earlier a person’s participation or even exposure to gambling is in childhood, the more likely they are to develop a gambling problem later in life. Gambling exposure during childhood is often through some kind of lottery product, given by an adult who is likely unaware of the associated risks.”
So, while lottery tickets and scratch games make the perfect stocking stuffer, make sure those stockings belong to adults and never give lottery games to children.
