How to Play Maine Gimme 5

Gimme 5 is one of Maine’s favorite lottery games. Choose five numbers from 1 to 39. You can choose your favorite lucky lottery numbers or leave it to fate and Quick Pick, where the computer randomly selects numbers for you. Matching just two numbers makes you a lucky winner! Gimme 5 is the tri-state area’s newest lottery game. The game is played in Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire. The game was added to the lottery in Maine on May 12, 2013. Initially, the game was only drawn on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Later, the drawing was changed to each weekday to add excitement to the game. 

Unlike games like Powerball (the format changed in 2015), the number of choices for Gimme 5 has always been five numbers between 1 and 39. The game is run by the Tri-State Lotto Commission. 

What to Do If You Win Gimme 5

How you claim your prize depends on how you ordered your ticket and how much you won. 

If you order your ticket in person at an authorized lottery retailer, and the prize is up to $600, you can claim your prize at any lottery retailer.
