I won a prize! Can I remain anonymous?
It depends! If your prize is above $10,000, you can remain anonymous. Here's what the Minnesota Lottery says: "For lottery prize winners above $10,000 cash, the prize amount, game name, and retailer name and city (where the winning ticket was purchased) is the only information that is considered public. For all winners $600+, only the prize amount and retailer information is posted on www.mnlottery.com/winners."
If I buy a Quick Pick ticket, can someone else get the same numbers?
All numbers are always available to every player. Just as it’s possible for someone else to choose the same numbers you have for your ticket, Quick Pick numbers can appear on more than one ticket since the numbers are randomly chosen.
Can I play other state’s lottery games?
Due to state regulations, you must be physically present in a state to participate in that state’s lottery games whether that’s visiting a brick and mortar retailer or ordering your ticket with the Jackpocket lottery app. You can order tickets in a state you are visiting, though if you win big, plan on making another trip to that state to claim your prize.
