“This incredible honor caps off yet another year of major growth for Jackpocket. We’re thrilled to be recognized for the collaborative culture we’ve built that makes it all possible,” said Peter Sullivan, co-founder and CEO of Jackpocket.
“As we continue to grow and expand our presence, we are ensuring that our company’s unique culture, built on transparency, respect and innovation, keeps supporting our dedicated team and serves as an example for others too. It’s the devoted work of our team that makes Jackpocket the #1 lottery courier app* in the U.S."
Built In determines the winners of Best Places to Work based on a special algorithm, using company data about compensation and benefits. To better reflect the benefits candidates are frequently searching for on Built In, the program also weighs criteria like remote work and flexible work opportunities, programs for DEI and other people-first cultural offerings.
What's It's Like to Work at Jackpocket
Jackpocketeers enjoy competitive salaries and stock options, 40l1(k) matching, generous PTO, up to 100% coverage for employee health insurance, wellness benefits like Teladoc and Talkspace, snack and meal perks, and career growth and promotion from within.
Everything we do is based on our core values of transparency, persistence, and respect. We work hard to emphasize a feeling of belonging. A few of our favorites:
We have several employee-led resource groups including a Women’s Employee Resource Group and an Asian Pacific Islanders Plus Employee Resource Group to provide support and create a safe space in the workplace.
Jackpocketeers can sign up to be paired with random teammates for a digital Meet and Greet. They get matched with new teammates each week for a chance to connect across regions and job roles. An Operations Associate in Minnesota can chat with a Growth Marketing Manager in Boston.
The entire company logs on weekly for virtual Friday Wins—all of us on Zoom celebrating successes across individuals and departments and made complete with a delivered lunch to every employee's door. Success can be big or small—a new internal contract routing system that will save us time, the latest creative for an NYC subway takeover, and a day-in-the-life of an operations manager in Ohio—have all come up in recent weeks.
The Marketing and Tech teams both host quarterly book club meetings (with lunch delivered, of course).
We love shoutouts! Our digital Kudos system enables us to publicly recognize our teammates for their creativity, hard work, and performance.
Last year’s company offsite, the Jackpocket Jamboree was a Western-themed retreat at the Pine Ridge Dude Ranch in upstate NY. Highlights included guest motivational speakers, management presentations, a Jackpocket Olympics competition, a celebrity DJ performance, karaoke, and a huge team bonding bonfire.
Jackpocket is on a mission to create a more convenient, fun and responsible way to play the lottery. Want to join us? Check out all open jobs at Jackpocket. 2023 is going to be a big year!
